Listen America is a wearable art piece that represents America’s cultural tendency to speak without truly listening to the voices of others, along with the societal lack of grounding and empathy. In other cultures, it is more often to pause before responding and reflect on the impact of language. The holes cut out in the center of each ear give the fictional power to rid these tendencies of the user.
