About
I am an artist exploring my practice at the University of Cincinnati, DAAP ( College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning) as a Fine Artist with a focus in sculpture and an Art Education certificate. I've gained abundant experience in education as a Teaching Artist at KHAC (Kennedy Heights Art Center), an art non-profit located in Cincinnati. Through KHAC, I lead an after-school art club for fourth to eighth graders at The Academy Of World Languages. I‘ve recently been awarded a position through KHAC to host their summer art camp during June; the camp will be focusing on sculptures made out of recyclable objects. I additionally aided at Primrose School of East Louisville, providing for newborns to preschoolers. I see a career path in art non-profits and a position as a community engagement leader. The base of my work is rooted in highlighting communal struggles and bringing people together over common experiences; I hope to bring people together from all walks of life and create a world where people value others’ perspectives.
